Carrying on

It has been a long time since I have updated this website. My focus has been my children mostly. Over the years I have managed to get some art work done around the house to enrich our home. Each of my kids have a mural in their room. I woodburned an octopus on my kitchen counter. I have done silly sketches and started paintings on canvases. I am finally entering a new season of life where the little kids aren't so little anymore and I have a little more time to put back into art. I will put all the pictures here.

The Puppy Who Ate the Stars

I created a character for a children's book I am designing. This is The Puppy Who Ate the Stars. I drew this drawing for fun, more to come from this character later!

Inktober 2018

I realized I never posted my inktober from last year. Here are all 31 images form last year as I gear up to do it all again this year! Last year my prompt was my daughter in costumes. This year will be my daughter with horses.

FFXIV Portraits

With the new expansion coming out for FFXIV I have decided to do portraits of peoples characters on commission. Here is an example of my character as a Viera! This was very exciting to work on. I had a lot of energy go into this drawing and I am very pleased with the end results.

Closed Species

These two characters are Closed Species belonging to two different artists in the adoptable world. I created both of these in a Make Your Own type of design. It was a lot of fun! The one on the left is a Silnina and the one on the right is a Roseilorn. You can learn more about Roseilorns at this website. And Silnina belong to Cream of Despair.

Watercolor Portraits

I recently had the pleasure of working on a few watercolor portraits for a client. It was wonderful to work with a physical medium and I fell in love with watercolor all over again. I will happily do watercolor portraits for anyone. Feel free to email me for inquiries on pricing.

Dog Grooming Logo!

I was commissioned to make a logo for a new dog grooming company based in the Netherlands! It was a lot of fun with the right amount of challenge. I had a great time designing for this company and am very pleased to hear the owner is happy with the design. I'm really finding a lot of love for creating logos and labels and am always happy to get work in this field.
